Lenovo EDU Community Creator Odyssey: Level Up by Lenovo × Intel Supported a mentorship in traditional ukiyo-e woodblock printing

In May 2025, Kenji Takenaka contributed as a mentor to Creator Odyssey: Level Up, an educational program by the Lenovo EDU Community. As part of the project, Belgian graphic artist Vexx visited Japan to study the traditional techniques of ukiyo-e woodblock printing. Over the course of approximately one week, Takenaka provided hands-on instruction and mentorship, guiding Vexx through the intricate processes of this centuries-old craft. The collaboration resulted in a series of new artworks inspired by the expressive qualities of ukiyo-e woodblock prints.The mentorship experience will be available to watch on Vexx’s YouTube channel starting June 14, 2025.
