Kenji Takenaka Participates in an International Woodblock Print Group Exhibition at the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Portland Japanese Garden Global Center for Culture and Art

This exhibition is a joint curatorial project by the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Portland Japanese Garden Global Center for Culture and Art in Oregon.
In this exhibition, Kenji Takenaka presents five new works that redefine Kyō-hanga (Kyoto woodblock prints) for the present day while carrying forward a long tradition.
We invite you to experience these works, created with the highest level of mastery in traditional water-based woodblock printing.

The exhibition is currently on view at the Portland Japanese Garden Global Center for Culture and Art in Portland, Oregon, from March 7 to June 15, 2026.
The presentation at the Honolulu Museum of Art has already concluded.
