Kenji Takenaka will participate in the International Woodblock Print Organization's group exhibition “Enduring Impressions: Contemporary Woodblock Prints” at the Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawaii, August 30, 2025 - early January , 2026.
This exhibition is a co-curated project between the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Global Center for Culture and Art, Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon. Takenaka will present five new works that define the long history of Kyo-prints in the modern age. Please look forward to seeing these works, which are created with supreme water-based woodblock printing techniques.
This exhibition will also be held at the Global Center for Culture and Art, Japanese Garden, Portland, Oregon, February 14, 2026 - June 22, 2026.
